War is a rough ordeal for any individual. When civil wars happen, the most vulnerable people who are struck are the mothers and children. However, this project due is focused on the affair of the education and training of children and youth hit by civil wars. An elaborate project management system identifies the crucial points to place assistance to the affected bunch in order to be stable and at par with the society. In many cases, neglect and lack of a point to relate to makes the adverse effects of the civil wars create insufferable communities. This project management plan is a clear identification of the right channels to follow in order to create a tranquil environment for every person. In wars, the social services are starved of funds, which are directed to the army and ammunition this violates the rights that children deserve. This project is a reflection of how to make the adverse effects subside after the civil war (Watt, 2000).
Wars bring an erosion in the institutions that provide the public with the right capacity to continue in a credible economic environment. This reduces the desired levels of production factors. Important factors like the human capital experience exodus while the arable land is left untouched. The other issue is the severity of the war to the quality of the institutions, expansion of education and social outcomes the community and the entire country. In a recent research on the micro-level of violent conflicts depicts the undesirable impacts of civil wars on labor, education, health, and household cohesion (Watt, 2000). Although these impacts may average out in the end on the macroeconomic level, they present emergence of poverty traps in specific population groups. Therefore, the project is rooted in the implementation of credible ways to rehabilitate the children into the system and make them capable to sustain themselves efficiently through giving them the required skills. More importantly is to reduce the emergence of poverty traps in the communities where the children were affected tremendously.
The vision of the project is to educate and train in order to alleviate the affected youth and children through skills that enable self-sufficiency.

Counselling and therapy team
This team is recommended to make sure the children and youth are assessed for the recognition of the suffering caused by the wars. Psychological wounds will be diagnosed in every child for care and counselling. The team will involve the cultural, historical, political, and traditional realities to ensure the prospects of trauma are handled deeply. Different methods and techniques will be employed by the team to make sure every angle is reached.
The team will adopt a community-based approach, which encourages the local culture, realities, and perceptions of child development and self-help to develop strategies that are effective in bring the children to terms with the new reality (Machel, Salgado, & Unicef, 2001). The team will learn the experiences and traditions of the country and local power structures to enhance the psychological therapy needed to make the children complete again. With this knowledge of the region, the team is bound to make plausible assumptions that instigate better counseling procedures for the children.
The team will take five months in this phase making sure the entire group is advised accordingly. The cost for this program is approximated to use $25,000.
Primary education team
This team is obligated to make sure he children affected are equipped with thinking skills. The lessons will be based on convergent analysis, divergent synthesis, virtual/spatial thinking, and evaluation of situations. This team will help the children to enhance their behavioral portfolios for support of a differentiated approach to their education (Watt, 2000). They will make the integrated approach to teaching the curriculum and offer the children opportunities to shine in their strong abilities like sports and extracurricular activities. The team is composed of a staff of trainers, public speakers, experts in different fields, teachers and other professional personnel. This team will take 15 months to give the children with the required skills and thinking abilities that enable them become better citizens. The funds needed for this process is $42.000.
Skill and empowerment team
The skill and empowerment group will be focused on the initiation of better ways for the children to enable themselves economically. The team will take a positive approach to making the young children more reliable in terms of self-sufficiency through a focus on the strengths and abilities. The team will make sure the talents are harnessed and utilized for the empowerment of the child. Many children have their dreams shattered by the conflicts and wars thus the team will help the children realize their initial dreams through the focus on their passion and strengths (Berkun, 2008). The team will focus on making sure the adversities are not part of their growth hindrance by making them realize their perspectives of life are rebuild into positive economic outcomes. They are responsible for instilling values that will assist them in becoming responsible adults while nurturing them to be the role models of their society. The team will make sure the children have accomplished the core mandate of the project, which is empowerment and responsibility.

The project milestones present in this program span from sustainability of the program, establishment of network of donors, initiation of income generating activities by the children, monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of the impact, and psychological therapy effectiveness.

Initiation of income generating activities
When the children learn to make ends meet successfully there would be a clear depiction of the importance of the project. Our objective is to make sure the children are empowered with skill that will enable them live comfortably after the process. This project will offer the children with courses that impart their lives through creation of jobs that satisfy them and the community. The platform encompasses to an effort of opening income-generating projects for the selected group, with the purpose of imparting the culture of self-employment among the civil war children/ youth. The youth will have the ability to make sure they are a light to the rest of the children in the community by becoming role models and important entrepreneurs. This milestone must be delivered by the end of the training and education time. The process will take 15 months (Watt, 2000).
When the children display progress in their mental stability the psychotherapy team will have concluded its purpose on the first group and can move on to the new batch. This milestone triggers the purpose of having stable minds, which can be ready for training and education. The team will take five months where assessments will take place and the qualified children can proceed to the next level the remaining will continue to receive therapy until ready for the next level (Machel, Salgado, & Unicef, 2001).
Establishing a network of donors
For the survival of the project, the team will make sure they have relevant bodies that donate essentials of the project and make sure they can keep on assisting children with trauma and PTSD. The donors will give the project the ability to run smoothly since they will provide funds for every activity.
The main dependencies, risks, issues, and assumptions of the project
The programs in the project inter-depend on each other, as children cannot gain insight when they are mentally disturbed by the past. The process is a flow of assistance that makes the children ready for the next level. Each child will start form the therapy program and complete the process via the series structured in the project.
Funding is a critical issue in the project, as the children and staff will need sustenance for the program to run smoothly. In case the funding process is delayed, some programs may run late while others may be closed entirely
